BibDesk for MAC
Free, open-source bibliography manager for Mac: keep references and their files together, search them all and cite them easily, especially with LaTeX.
BibDesk Overview
BibDesk is a bibliography manager for the Mac. It keeps track of your bibliographic information and of the files and web links that go with it, and its services make it simple to use your bibliography in other applications. It is particularly well suited to LaTeX users, and it works with citation autocompletion in most LaTeX editors.
You can import from text, BibTeX and RIS files, pull references from web pages, and query online catalogues such as PubMed. BibDesk is an open source project under a BSD license and is available free of charge. Version 1.9.13 adds support for Typst style citations and can show the TeX log in the embedded TeX preview. It needs OS X 10.13 or later. Its FAQ notes that macOS sometimes refuses to open older versions and nightly builds because it cannot check them; you can then allow the app in your Mac’s security settings.
